Maritime paintings to be in shipshape condition for return to refurbished Hull museum

This conservation work is part of a £30.3m regeneration-led scheme - Hull: Yorkshire’s Maritime City project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Hull City Council and is born out of the success and a legacy project from the city’s tenue as UK City of Culture 2017.

Presented across four important sites and two historic  vessels, each housing significant collections, they comprise some of Hull’s most precious heritage and together tell stories of invention and ingenuity, perseverance and endurance, triumph and disaster.
